Description
The Maternity Support Worker Training is a live online course designed for anyone interested in working in maternity care, regardless of previous qualifications or experience. Delivered in a simple, supportive way, the course helps every learner build the knowledge and confidence needed to apply for Maternity Care Assistant roles in NHS and private healthcare settings.
The training is delivered by a registered clinician with years of frontline experience in maternity and healthcare education.
The course includes 3 days of live intensive training (from 10am to 5pm), followed by self-study and an online assessment.
No previous healthcare experience is required. A basic understanding of English and Maths is recommended.
After successful completion, learners receive a certificate that can support applications for Maternity Care Assistant roles or provide additional supportive evidence for midwifery university applications.
