Basic Health Care Assistant Training Course Description:
The Basic Health Care Assistant Training Course is a comprehensive program designed for individuals who are interested in starting a career in the Health and Social Care sector. The course is also suitable for individuals who have had a gap in work experience due to different circumstances and would like to refresh/update their knowledge before applying for health care assistant vacancies.
The course covers essential standards, personal development, the duty of care, equality and diversity, person-centred care, communication, privacy and dignity, fluids and nutrition, mental health awareness, dementia and learning disabilities, safeguarding adults and children, health and safety, handling information, first aid awareness, and infection control.
This one-day training program from 10 am to 5pm is intensive and delivered via Zoom Meetings. Participants will have up to 7 hours of training followed by a 40-minute online assessment. The course fees are £175.00.
During the training program, participants will engage in interactive activities and practical sessions to ensure that they understand the concepts covered. Upon completion of the training program, participants will have a clear understanding of the basic knowledge and skills required to work as a Health Care Assistant.
This training program is delivered online, so no attendance is required. Participants can attend the training program from the comfort of their homes or any location of their choice.
